Winter Park

I am camping in Colorado Winter park. It was my first visit to Colorado. I thinked that here is super small town, but there are supermarkets, Macdonald, Sabway in Wintew park.
Noram race was here a few days ago. Some Japanese racers did the Noram race.
I'm enjoying skiing so much.

"Role Models"

I stayed at the Bonner's house from Friday to Sunday.
Bonner's house is near Killington ski area. I was comfortable here, too.
I went to a movie theater on Friday with Matt, Chandler and Kane. We saw "Role Models". It was a very funny movie.
I went to the Boynton's house to eat dinner and take a jacuzzi on Saturday. Dinner was delicious. The jacuzzi felt good.
Thank you very much Bonner family and Boynton family.

Thanksgiving Day

I stayed at the Barkan's house from Wednesday to Friday.
Thursday was Thanksgiving day. Thanksbiving day is not in Japan. So this Thanksgiving day was first for me. Dinner was a lot of food. It was so good. I ate a lot of turkey. The desserts were pie and ice cream.

Middlebury College

I stayed at the Woolson's house from Saturday to Wednesday. I visited Middlebury College with Sasha Woolson on Monday. Sasha is a Middlebury College's professor. She is very smart and very kind. I walked around the College and the town. Middlebury looks British. The Walls of MIddlebury College's buildings are stone. Those are so beautiful. I have seen an ice hockey rink and a very big swimming pool for the first time. I was very interested yesterday. Thank you Sasha.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN

U.S.J. is in Osaka. I have gone to the U.S.J. four times. I went to U.S.J. this summer too. I like it there so much, because the U.S.J. is enjoyable to me. My favorite attraction's name is "Hollywood the dream". Hollywood the dream is a roller coaster. A night view of the hollywood the dream is so beautiful. This

Tetris

I like tetris. My specialty is to play tetris. I have a tetris of nintendo DS. I play endless mode of the tetris during my free time. The tetris is very delightful. I don't become gameover, so I can play the tetris forever.

World cup in Levi

Levi is in Finland. The first SL world cup was in Levi on the 15th and 16th of Nov. The men's results were 1st, Jean-Baptiste Grange (FRA) 2nd, Bode Miller (USA) 3rd, Mario Matt (AUT). I saw the first run. I thought Grange had very good stability and turned very sharply his skis. By the way the company of his skis is Rossignol. My skis are Rossignol too. Yeah!!

Japanese base ball teams

There are 12 base ball pro teams, and 2 leagues in Japan. The league's names are the central and the pacific. My favorite team is Tokyo Yomiuri Giants. I have been fan since I was 8 years old. Tokyo Yomiuri Giants became the champion of the central league this season. This picture is then so the man in the picture is a manager. He is a very good manager, so he was chosen the manager of the Japanese national team. I hope the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants wins the league next year too.

I like Japanese foods

My favorite Japanese foods are sushi and yakiniku. I think everydody knows sushi, because sushi is famous in United States. My favorite ingrediens of sushi are sea urchin and salmon. Sushi is so delicious.

Yakiniku is grill meats, but yakiniku is diffelent from a steak. Yakiniku grills many parts of beef, park and chichen. My favorite part is tangue of beef. Yakiniku is so delicious too.

My father's name is Tatsumi.
My mother's name is Michiyo.
They were married when they were 23 years old.
They are the same age, and they went to the same high school.
My father skis, but my mother doesn't ski.
My father made a chance to ski for me.
My mother has to take good care of many things for me.
I must not forget to be thankful to parents.

Panorama ski resort

I had gone to the Panorama ski resort at Japanese ski camp from 2nd grade to 9th grade at the beginning of the season. I like it there, because there are very good conditions. The hotel is very near the ski area, it is a ten second walk from the hotel to the ski area.

My first fis race was here. The Canadian taem and Swiss tesm participated in this race. It was a good experience for me.

I want to go to Panorama again.

Sekinomiya junior high school

Sekinomiya junior high school is in Yabu city.

I went to Sekinomiya junior high school from 7th to 9th grades. This school is a public school of the country. There are about 120 students and about 20 teachers and an American teacher in the school. He taught English to us with a Japanese teacher. He is from Seattle. His name is Andrew. We called him Andy. I like him.

I joined the ski taem and basketball team. I skied from November to April and in August, I played basketball in the other months.

My best memory is an athletic meet of school when I was in 9th grade. I was the captain then. Our team didn't win, but it was so exciting.

I lived a full life at Sekinomiya junior high school.

Fall Ball!!

Fall Ball was at night on Friday the 7th. Fall Ball was at the GMVS Ski Club. I have never been to a dance party, because Japanese high school doesn't do dance parties. So I have done my first dance party yesterday. I enjoyed very much Fall Ball. I was so excited this night. I felt the different culture of Japan and U.S.A. When I return to Japan, I want to teach my friends about Fall Ball. Will you dance with me!?

I go to Green Mountain Valley School.

GMVS is in Waitsfield, Vermont. Waitsfield is a small town. There are many forests so the air is very clear. GMVS is a vocational high school of skiing. There are about 100 students and about 30 staff at GMVS. My roommites are John and Dan. We cleaned our room yesterday. This picture is then. Very clean!! I became happy.

Fall Ball is today. I'm looking forward to Fall Ball.

Nihon University Yamagata High School

I go to Nihon University Yamagata High School in Japan. This school is in Yamagata city of Yamagata Prefecture. When I go to the school, I stay at my ski team coach's house, because it takes about ten hours from my house to the school by car. There are about 1,500 students and about 100 teachers in the school. There are 3 grades in Japanese high school. School starts in April, and finishes in March. There are 15 Alpina skiers in the school. I study meny subjects in the school. For example, math, Japanese, history, science, P.E. Students must wear a school uniform when they go to school.

I enjoy this school every day.

I'm from Yabu city in Japan!

Yabu city is in Hyogo Prefecture. Yabu city is in the country. It is near Osaka. The population is about 30,000 people. The Mayor's name is Sakae Hirose. There are five junior high schools and three high schools in Yabu city. There are two mountains in Yabu city. Their names are Mt.Hyono and Mt.Hachibuse. The mountains turn beautiful red in autumn. Mt.Hyono is the tallest in the Hyogo Prefecture. My house is in Mt.Hachibuse. My house is very near a ski area. There are 4 ski areas in Yabu city, but they are small. Please come by all means.

I saw FOOT LOOSE!!

I liked the FOOT LOOSE play.
The singing sounds very good.
Willard was very funny
Ren sings very well.
The band sounded very nice.
The girls were pretty.
My roommates, John and Dan, are in the play.
The coach was funny because he was fat.
My favorite scene is Ren and Ariel kissing.
This play is the best!!

My name is Tomoki Ichinomoto. I'm from Japan but I am staying in a dorm at GMVS. I am here in Waitsfield to ski and study English. I am a student. I'm studying English and math. In my free time I like to go on the Internet. My favorite season is winter because I can ski.
I have three favorite movies.
1,BIOHAZARD series. Because there are a lot of thrilling scenes in this movie.
2,8Mile. Because the rap of the chief character of this movie is cool.
3,The Lake House. Because I was impressed by this movie very much.
