Tomoki at GMVS

I came to GMVS in october.
I did community service on my first school day. It was so hard work.
When it was Halloween, I sow the FOOT LOOSE play. It was very interesting.
Fall Ball was on November 7th at the GMVS ski club. It was my first dance party. I enjoysd very much Fall Ball.
I stayed at three houses on Thanksgiving break. Every house cooked great meals and every one was so nice. Thank you so much Woolson's family, Barkan's family and Bonner's family!
I went to Winterpark in Colorado for ski camp in December. It was my first visit to Colorado. Winterpark was a good ski area.
I have been to Quebec for races twice. It was so cold. I skated in Quebec. It was my first time.
I went to Sugarloaf in Maine for speedweek. It was my first DH race and a very good experience for me. DH and SG were so fun.
I made great friends at GMVS. I think this was the best part.
I'm going to enjoy the remainder of my time GMVS.
I had fun with John and Dan in our room.

Speedweek

I went to Sugarloof for speedweek. I stayed in a condo. The condo was next to the ski area. It was my first DH race. It was very fun. Sugarloof was a big ski area, but there was wind. So, one race was cancelled. I was disappointed. I like DH and SG.

About New Year's in Japan

Most people eat buckwheat noodles (Soba) on New Year's Eve, and eat Osechi on New Yaer's. Parents and grand parents give money to children. I got money from my parents and grand parents. I was happy. Most people visit a shrine and pray to God. I prayed to God too. Most people watch sunrise but it was cloudy New Year's day. Most people send a New Year's greeting postcard to friends, teachers, coaches and acquaintances.
A Happy New Year!

I go back to Japan

I went back to Japan from December 24th to January 3rd.
I stayed at my house just two days.
I stayed at Kurohime in Nagano other days. Kurohime is a ski area. I did training there. When I stayed in Japan, it was snowy many days, so I enjoyed powdery snow somedays.

Japanese foods were so good. I like Japanese foods. I love Japan.
